“Lollipops and Guns” The story is quite horrible so of course it affected me. The main characters in this story is Mario and Artkin. They had a mission to kill the bus driver. The bus was full of children, so they gave them some choclate with drugs in. So the children would fall asleep, and they did. But things didn’t go as planned. They thought it would sit an old man behind the wheel but there was a girl.
The idea of going on a bus with the mission to kill someone is really bad…And to drug children just to be able to do that? It makes me scared.
You learn pretty quickly how Mario is as a person. He's only 16 years old and he seems lonely. Before this incident he looses his brother and probably nobody cared or talked to him about that. I think he wanted to do revenge.
In the beginning I was a little bit confused and I didn’t understand that much. I think he’s a little bit confused too. And when the boy died, Mario started to think. But according to me it was too late to realize that this was a bad idea. Because the boy was already dead.
I think it began to awake memories in his head.
